Peter Zumthor gave birth to the concept of “Slow Design” with his buildings. Gradually, it has turned into a holistic  approach to the design process and outcome. “Slow” doesn't refer to the time-based cost; it only describes the designer’s elevated state of awareness in the process of creation, the quality of its tangible outcomes and a richer exprience for the end-users.
